Culture of Bhojpuri Region : ウィキペディア英語版 | Culture of Bhojpuri Region Bhojpuri region comprises the 21 districts of Purvanchal region of eastern Uttar Pradesh and 9 districts of western Bihar which includes the districts of Rohtas, Kaimur, Buxar and Bhojpur to the south of the Ganges; and Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj, East Champaran and West Champaran to the north of the Ganges in the northern-eastern part of India as well as adjacent districts in Nepal's Outer Terai〔(Nepal ), Ethnologue〕 including Rupandehi, Nawalparasi, Parsa, Bara, Rautahat and Sarlahi districts. Bhojpuri along with Hindi-Urdu and Nepali is the mother-tongue of many people of this area.〔http://discoverbihar.bih.nic.in/pages/bhojpuri_culture.htm〕 Bhojpuri culture is a part of Nepalese culture as well as India's North-Central Cultural Zone with the rest of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The rest of cultural region of Bihar and Nepal i.e., Magadha, Mithila, Nepal, Mithila, India, and Anga lies in the Eastern Cultural Zone with Bengal, Assam and Odisha.
