Bhojpuri along with Hindi-Urdu and Nepali is the mother-tongue of many people of this area.〔http://discoverbihar.bih.nic.in/pages/bhojpuri_culture.htm〕 Bhojpuri culture is a part of Nepalese culture as well as India's North-Central Cultural Zone with the rest of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The rest of cultural region of Bihar and Nepal i.e., Magadha, Mithila, Nepal, Mithila, India, and Anga lies in the Eastern Cultural Zone with Bengal, Assam and Odisha.
